Why did you choose Creative Leadership coaching?
I first met Clare Louise on The Art and Soul course in Italy in 2019. I had heard of Clare Louise before from her time as a Photographer and was excited to take part in the creative programme she was running at the retreat. The first session was with Clare Louise, I really wasn't sure what to make of it all, I had never experienced training like it and was completely out of my comfort zone. I struggle with speaking in groups and opening up, Clare Louise was kind, warm and also shared her own stories and experiences which helped put us all at ease.

After our time in Italy I took a lot away from what Clare Louise has taught us, the way she had changed my outlook on my business and so much more. When returning from Italy I contacted Clare Louise about 1:1 coaching. I had an idea of what to expect from it but it was honestly so much more. I have trained with her now for almost 12 months and it was a complete eye opener ... not just to my business but about myself too.

What was the biggest impact of working with Clare Louise?
Nothing I asked for felt silly or stupid. I felt completely comfortable when I was with Clare Louise. She would go at my own pace and if I asked her to re-explain something she just did it without question. Her approach to coaching and teaching meant I was able to learn the way that was most effective for me, I felt she really understood me - this was a very big benefit. Clare Louise explained everything clearly and the online work resources where just great!  Everything was easy to find and I completed it in my own time at my own pace - meaning I could put my all into the work.

When did you start to see the benefit?
We started with personal coaching and looked at the perspective I was approaching my business form and how I my lack of self belief, fears and doubts were stopping me. Around 3 months in, we had clarity on what my business stood for, the role I played in it and had a clear idea of what I had already done or tired and where I wanted my business to go. All the work I was doing from the online resources was building towards this and each week I would be adding or trying something knew. I was tracking my business in so much more depth and this really helped me see an increase in both enquires and sales. I could feel the confidence in me coming out and that was all thanks to Clare Louise.

What was the biggest value?
Knowing that the things I had been doing weren't wrong and that my business wasn't unsuccessful. I just needed some guidance and to see where I could improve the thing I was already doing. Understanding how a strong brand does make your business.

She's the most kind and caring soul. She really does have your best interests at heart and has a lot of knowledge about coaching creative businesses. She always has a listening ear and is great to bounce ideas off. She really listens to what you want to get from your coaching. Not only is she here to coach you, she opens up and shares her experiences too which I found so helpful for myself and my business and helped me realise that we all start somewhere.
