Why Shooting with Soul – what did you want out of the workshop? My every day work does not always allow time for being creative. My passion for photography was at a new low and so was my confidence. Clare Louise’s workshop spoke to me. I wanted to rediscover who I am and reignite my passion. The workshop went way beyond my expectations and more!
Tell us about your experience of the day? Clare Louise has a way of drawing out our emotions and getting us to share our stories. I made instant connections to the other attendees. This is a very different type of workshop. It’s quite spiritual and with gentle guidance, Clare Louise gets you out of your head and listening to your heart instead.
What was the biggest value from the day? I feel lighter, more confident in myself and I got to create photo shoots in a space with no boundaries or judgement.
What’s changed for you since the workshop? Before the workshop I had built up a block, a wall to my creativity. I had fear and doubted my ability. I feel that that cycle has been broken. I have found my purpose.
How do you feel you have grown creatively? I am finding ways to be more creative in my every day. There is no right or wrong, so I am pushing myself to have fun and play with my photography, and to not worry about what others will think of me.
How did the workshop empower you personally? I believe in myself. There I said it! The visulisation exercises Clare Louise did with us has helped to empower me, I take that with me everywhere.
What would you tell others about Clare Louise? I would say Clare Louise is amazing. She has this ability to somehow make you feel comfortable even though you’re talking about uncomfortable emotions. She has so much to give and is very generous with her time.
Who would you recommend this workshop too and why? I would recommend this workshop to anyone who is feeling stuck in a creative rut. It’s about connecting with like-minded creative people, unleashing your creativity, digging deep inside your soul and coming out the other side believing in yourself.
The last word what do you want to say to Clare Louise : Thank you Clare Louise for believing in me, showing me how to find my creativity again, bringing my passion for photography back and allowing us a free space with no boundaries for this to happen.
